Our Doctors

Dr. Marelene Oelofse

Doctor / Owner

Dr Marelene completed her training in South Africa in 2012. She moved to Australia in 2015 with her family. She worked in NSW initially, then moved to rural Western Australia where she has been working for the past 6 years. Dr Marelene consults Monday to Friday in Boddington.

Dr Vicki Lee Jefferson

Doctor

Dr. Vicki-Lee Jefferson is a general practitioner based in Western Australia. She consults at Boddington Medical Centre on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week

Dr Caroline Yego

Doctor

Dr Yego Graduated in the University of Nairobi and worked as a Doctor in Kenya prior to starting her career in Australia in 2018. She has been working in regional Queensland and WA, gaining experience in different specialties.

Dr Mustafa Ali

Doctor

Dr Ali graduated MBBS from James Cook University in 2022 and moved to WA in 2025 after completing multiple hospital rotations. Dr Ali has broad hospital experience across emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology and rural medicine.

Cheryl Bothwell

I am an experienced Clinical Midwife Consultant with over 20 years of experience in nursing and midwifery across the United Kingdom and Australia. I recently moved to Boddington to be closer to family and am excited about embracing rural life and supporting the Boddington community in my new role.

I hold a BSc (Honours) in Midwifery from the University of Salford and a Graduate Certificate in Health Leadership from the University of Notre Dame Australia, and I am registered as both a Nurse and Midwife with AHPRA.

Our Support and Reception Staff

The efficiency and warmth of our centre is credited to our wonderful support staff. They are here to help with your appointments, answer your queries, and ensure that your visit is as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Gabe Roberts

I have lived in Boddington since 1991, have worked and volunteered locally for most of those years, generally in the form of leadership/management role. I have been the Office Manager at Boddington Medical Centre since November 2021.

Jessica Coulthard

I have lived in Boddington for 10 years, working at the Boddington Medical Centre for 5 years. After school I studied Pharmacy, sparking my interest in Healthcare. You will find me at the front desk ready to greet you at your next appointment.

Jayde Carruthers

The newest member of our front office reception staff, Jayde joins us after being a Stay at Home Mom for a while. She comes with past experience in the Pharmacy world, and lives locally in Crossman.
